Established in 2015, Footlights Dance Studio commenced classes under the direction of studio principal Julia Duffy. After 6 years of providing professional dance tuition, across a wide range of styles and age groups in the greater Brisbane area, Julia decided to pursue the dream of opening a dance studio of her own. In January 2018, Zoe Schnitzerling extended her commitment to Footlights, joining Julia as Co-Principal. With teaching experience at a number of schools over many years, Zoe began working with Footlights at its inception and has continued to grow her professional skills throughout that time. With a wealth of international professional experience, Julia and Zoe are passionate about sharing their knowledge and love of the arts with all students.
At Footlights Dance Studio,we believe that every child is unique, and has a special talent waiting to be discovered. We offer classes in Ballet (RAD), Jazz (ComDance), Tap (GWT), Contemporary (ComDance), Musical Theatre, Commercial Dance and Acrobatics for older students. As well as fun and imaginative movement classes, called Creative Kids, for children as young as 2.5yrs. Our growing team of qualified teachers and industry professionals take great pride in nurturing each and every student in a positive learning environment.
